What flying lines are good for me?

When you buy your own kitesurfing gear for your specific riding style you should not only focus on the kite and board. The right flying lines are very important too! They do affect significantly the control of the kite and how it accelerates, flies, relaunches or turns.

We use six different line diameters from rope makers Liros and Teufelberger. They are the leading Dyneema® manufacturers when it comes to kite lines. For flying lines we strictly use only the best Dyneema® fiber type currently available: the SK99.
All our flying lines are spliced and pre-stretched to achieve the highest standard of quality.

Because the front lines get more loaded than the back lines as they transfer the kite’s power, we always use a thicker diameter for them.

In the following list you can see what are the lines characteristics based on our designs and own specs:

These recommendations should help you to select your ideal set based on your practice.
